The Companions of the Crow

Who we are

The Companions of the Crow are a medieval re-enactment group.

This means that we attempt to recreate aspects of the medieval period through a combination of combat and living history displays. While we try to be as authentic as possible in everything we do, we are not able to say "this is how it was", only "this is a close approximation to how we think it might have been".

Types of events

Throughout the course of a year we will attend a range of events. These vary in size from small school or village fetes up to large multi period gatherings and historical battle re-enactments, such as Tewkesbury Medieval Festival. Some of these events (such as Tewkesbury) will see us only taking part in the organised battles, while others (such as some events at Cosmeston) will see us in a predominantly living history role. Still other events will be a combination of combat displays and living history encampments.

Please see the events pages for details of events we are doing this year.
